So we woke up one morning
just as the sun was rising
we saw a maiden riding in the valleys below

What was she thinking?
What was she riding
How can a maiden treat a moto bike just so.....

Well easy ride it like you stole it and then throw it around a bit , drown it a bit and then double load it and wack it a bit more.....

Does this remind you of any body yet.

Well another freaksheep event under the belt. a few expenses in repairs and a few memories with good mates.... whats next - I think we need to plan!!! 

5 Get Over Excited - Lesotho Highland AdventureBiking

Adventure biking in Lesotho after months of rain is not for sissies.
Just ask Linda.
Linda is tough.
Linda can endo a Tenere 660 on a muddy track.
Linda can dive down a rocky embankment and still catch a fully laden bike on her chest while lying on her back.
Linda can drown a growling bike in a fast flowing river.
All that and she just keeps on going back for more.
Alan will have to watch her like a hawk if she is going to keep taking bullets for the rest of us.
I say hawk because give the amount of low flying he does in offroad terrain, he MUST have wings. He should be sponsored by Red Bull.
Kev?  Well,. he's so soft he gets blisters when trecking down a rocky pass to go and rescue Linda. He's so soft that he he would rather ride a destroyed back tyre at 100kph for 200k than walk the distance. Lazy guy. He'll use any opportunity to avoid carrying on ... changing tyres, overhauling browned engines, servicing and repairing biked and packing and repacking Max's bike ... anything! Skilled like a ninja on two wheels tho. He knows his stuff alright.  Great teacher too.
Just ask Max how much she learned from him.
Max is like an enegiser bunny on two wheels. She just keeps going ... and going ... and going.
Max is probably more reliable and as tough as the KLR she rides. Now if we can just get her to keep to her side of the road when cornering, the oncoming traffic's world will be a lot safer .... a LOT!

did a little talk on the 2000 trans africa trip at the KLR clan gathering.
Some nice people - some interesting riding groups - maybe we will do a ride with them in the new year. My KLR is still in hospital - should be out soon!!!

Looks like we are going to Kilimanjaro. Looks like we will have to ride there. Looks like we may even have to ride back. Looks like it will be freakin sheeping. Looks like we will have to ride far.
