Hi Guys

did a little talk on the 2000 trans africa trip at the KLR clan gathering.
Some nice people - some interesting riding groups - maybe we will do a ride with them in the new year. My KLR is still in hospital - should be out soon!!!

Dual Purpose Transkei Overnight Trip

If anyone is interested in joining ... two of us are heading down to the Transkei for a one nighter next week. It's a quick in and out. We will be leaving Friday afternoon and coming back Saturday morning.
We hit the dirt immediately on crossing the border and will have about 80ks of moderate dirt to 4x4 track before hitting the rough stuff. This will be a good chance to practice riding in sand and dunes for those that have never done so before. We will be sleeping in the bush where we find a spot, so don't expect ablutions.
